There is something very satisfying about the process of planting, growing and harvesting your own vegetables. Of course, it's not an easy option and there are almost certainly pests and other setbacks to contend with along the way. But whatever vegetables you end up with will be the results of your own endeavours and, more importantly, you'll know exactly what chemicals, if any, were used in the process. So, click on the following links to see some basic growing information to get you started on your farming adventure. If you have any questions, please leave a comment on the relevant pages.

Hi.When the cucumber is tiny it is put into the small end of the glass tube. The cucumber then grows into it. Only thing is I'm not sure how the tube is supported.

Hi
I bought a cucumber straightener (bottle) as a gimmic for a friend whilst on holiday, but the instructions were missing - I live too far away to return it to the store and it would be silly to give it to the friend without the instructions - would you have any idea how to grow the cucumber.

Thanks

Teresa
