6 tablespoons plain flour
1/2 cup butter
a few drops of almond or vanilla or lemon extract
(see measure conversions for more information)
- Gradually fold in the sieved flour and add the chosen flavoring.
- Bake in well-greased scallop shells.
- Before putting in the oven sprinkle with a small amount of sugar.
- Cook for 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees F (see temperature conversions).
- To serve remove from shells, cool and sprinkle with a little icing/confectioner's sugar.
