2 cups sugar
2 tablespoons caraway seeds
2 cups butter
8 eggs
1 grated nutmeg
(see measure conversions for more information)
- Beat the butter to a cream.
- Add the sugar.
- Beat the egg whites and add.
- Beat the egg yolks and add.
- Beat in the flour, spice and seeds.
- Turn into greased cake tin and bake in a hot oven 220oc/425of/gas mark7 for 1 1/2 hours or until firm to touch.
