How to make moist cake - Teisen Lap:
A rich fruit cake from Wales.


1 pint sour cream
6 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons sultanas
4 tablespoons sugar
1 egg
3 tablespoons self-raising flour
(see measure conversions for more information)


- In a mixing bowl rub the butter into the flour.
- Stir in the sugar and sultanas.
- Whisk the egg into the cream and stir into the mixture.
- Pour into a shallow well greased tin and bake at 130 degrees C. (see temperature conversions) until firm.
- This cake can also be cooked in a Dutch oven or under the grill.
