How to make Kent Twice Laid:
An interestingly named egg savory snack from Kent. Similar to modern fish cakes, this was once a way of using up leftover fish.



Ingredients

white fish, bones and skin removed
a little milk
seasoning
a little fat
mashed potatoes
1 egg
breadcrumbs
(see measure conversions for more information)

Method

- Divide the fish into flakes.
- Mix in twice as much mashed potatoes.
- Add a little milk.
- Add seasoning to taste and make into balls.
- Dip into the egg, roll in breadcrumbs and fry in fat until brown.

The PROBLEM is that I have too much stuff in my kitchen. But, I now have gotten a small china hutch from my MIL (She moved).

I am not using it for china.

This morning I moved all of my spices to the top area: I had NO! idea I had that many spices! I lined them up in the front so I could see those tiny containers, and I have 4 rows of them. No more fishing in the cupboard for the tiny things!!!!!!!!!
