How to make Huntingdon pudding:
A truly delicious traditional pudding which makes use of a now seldom used fruit, the gooseberry.



Ingredients

4 cups plain/all purpose flour
3/4 cup caster/superfine sugar
1/2 cup suet
1 pint gooseberries
1 egg
pinch baking powder
1/4 pint milk
(see measure conversions for more information)

Method

- Mix the flour and shredded suet together.
- Add sugar, baking powder and gooseberries.
- Stir well.
- Beat up the egg in milk, and add to the mixture gradually.
- Steam in a greased basin for 3 hours and serve with Golden Syrup.

The PROBLEM is that I have too much stuff in my kitchen. But, I now have gotten a small china hutch from my MIL (She moved).

I am not using it for china.

This morning I moved all of my spices to the top area: I had NO! idea I had that many spices! I lined them up in the front so I could see those tiny containers, and I have 4 rows of them. No more fishing in the cupboard for the tiny things!!!!!!!!!
