How to make Cotswold dumpling:
Dumplings with a cheese flavor and an unusual toasted crumb coating. Even more unusually these dumplings are cooked by frying.



Ingredients

1/2 cup self raising flour
2 tablespoons suet
1 tablespoon grated cheese
water to mix
breadcrumbs from 3 slices of bread, toasted
fat for frying
(see measure conversions for more information)

Method

- Mix all the ingredients together, except the breadcrumbs and fat.
- Add enough cold water to form a slightly sticky dough.
- Form into rounds and roll in the lightly toasted breadcrumbs.
- Fry in hot fat until crisp and golden brown.
- Drain on kitchen paper.

The PROBLEM is that I have too much stuff in my kitchen. But, I now have gotten a small china hutch from my MIL (She moved).

I am not using it for china.

This morning I moved all of my spices to the top area: I had NO! idea I had that many spices! I lined them up in the front so I could see those tiny containers, and I have 4 rows of them. No more fishing in the cupboard for the tiny things!!!!!!!!!
