marzipan paste (almond icing)
a few drops of rose water
a few drops orange flower water
2 contrasting natural food colors
(see measure conversions for more information)
- Work the orange flower water into the marzipan and a few drops of your other chosen natural food coloring.
- Roll out the fondant and divide it into equal halves.
- Roll out the marzipan, place it on one half of the fondant, and press the remainder of the fondant on top, so that you have a sandwich of marzipan and fondant.
- Then cut in shapes and leave to dry for 24 hours.

How to make Viennese bonbons:

Method
- Work the rose water into the fondant, together with two or three drops of your chosen natural food coloring.- Work the orange flower water into the marzipan and a few drops of your other chosen natural food coloring.
- Roll out the fondant and divide it into equal halves.
- Roll out the marzipan, place it on one half of the fondant, and press the remainder of the fondant on top, so that you have a sandwich of marzipan and fondant.
- Then cut in shapes and leave to dry for 24 hours.
