How to make vegetarian pie:
A good vegetarian pie to try.


2 cups (8oz) plain/all purpose flour
3 tablespoons olive oil
1lb courgettes/zucchinis grated
1 large onion, peeled and chopped
1 large egg, beaten
1 cup (4oz) strong vegetarian cheddar cheese, grated
salt and black pepper
(see measure conversions for more information)


- Make a dough from the flour, olive oil and a little cold water.
- Roll out half of the dough.
- Use this to line a well greased 8 inch pie dish.
- Put the courgettes, egg and onion into the pastry case.
- Season well.
- Top with the cheese.
- Roll out the other half of the dough and make a lid for the pie.
- Bake at about 200 degrees C. for about half an hour.
- The pie should be golden brown.
