8 tablespoons cottage cheese
2 tablespoons tomato puree
4 tablespoons mayonnaise (low fat if preferred)
the juice of one lemon
lettuce
3 tablespoons chopped chives
salt and black pepper to taste
fresh chervil or parsley
thin lemon slices
(see measure conversions for more information)
- Put the drained tuna into a bowl and mash well.
- Mash the cottage cheese and mix with the tuna.
- Add the tomato puree and the mayonnaise.
- Mix well.
- Stir in the chives and lemon juice.
- Add salt and pepper and taste.
- Spoon tuna mixture into a mould and chill in the fridge for at least two hours.
- Turn out of mould onto a bed of lettuce leaves.
- Decorate with chervil and thin lemon twists.

An extremely nutritious, savory dish which is relatively low in fat. Ideal accompanied by a crisp salad.

1 cup dolphin-friendly tuna, canned in brine8 tablespoons cottage cheese

Method
