How to make Tortilla Chips:
Tortilla chips are basically triangular segments of tortilla deep fried until they become crispy.


Tortilla Chips with Dip
tortilla, cut into triangles
vegetable oil for deep frying
(see measure conversions for more information)


- Heat the oil until a cube of bread browns when dropped in.
- Carefully fry the triangles until golden brown and crisp.
- Drain on kitchen paper.
- Fry again if you want extra crispness, making sure that they do burn.
- Serve with a dip such as guacamole.
