Starter - Tomato & Onion Salad
Main Course - Savory Marrow, String Beans and New Potatoes
Dessert - Blackberry Pudding with Clotted Cream
1 red onion
1 teaspoon basil
seasoning
pinch sugar
1/3 cup oil and vinegar dressing
lettuce leaves
(see measure conversions for more information)
- Sprinkle with the basil, a little salt and pepper and the sugar.
- Pour on the dressing and leave for 30 minutes.
- Serve on the lettuce.

How to make tomato and onion salad:
As the days are still fairly warm, why not try a light dish of tomato and onion salad.
Ingredients
4 large tomatoes1 red onion
1 teaspoon basil
seasoning
pinch sugar
1/3 cup oil and vinegar dressing
lettuce leaves
(see measure conversions for more information)
Method
- Peel and slice tomatoes and onion thinly and place in a basin.- Sprinkle with the basil, a little salt and pepper and the sugar.
- Pour on the dressing and leave for 30 minutes.
- Serve on the lettuce.
