Dessert Recipes > Sweet Pumpkin Fritters
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 eggs beaten
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 level tablespoons superfine sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 lemon
fat for frying
(see measure conversions for more information)
- Add the beaten eggs.
- Make into flat rounds about 3 inches in diameter and 1 inch deep.
- Fry until brown in very hot fat.
- Mix the sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle over the cooked fritters.
- Serve with lemon.
