How to make strawberry meringue flan:
The classic combination of strawberries and cream on top of a meringue base.


3 egg whites
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 1/3 cups strawberries hulled, sliced and sprinkled with sugar
1 1/4 cup heavy/double cream whipped until stiff
2 tablespoons Cointreau

- Make a meringue from the egg whites and sugar.
- Cook in a rough circular shape.
- Stir the strawberries and Cointreau into the cream.
- Pile onto the cooled meringue base.
