How to make saffron lamb:
Lamb chops cooked with an unusual saffron sauce.


4 lamb chops
1 teaspoon saffron powder
1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
2/3 cup dried milk solids
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon lemon juice
4 tomatoes to serve

- Trim all fat from the chops.
- Broil them for about 15 minutes on each side, until cooked through.
- Transfer to a heatproof dish.
- Mix together the saffron powder, mushrooms, milk solids, water and lemon juice.
- Spread the mixture over the chops and broil for a few more minutes to heat through.
- Serve with broiled tomatoes.
