How to make rosti:
A tasty potato snack that tastes great and is easy to make.


1 cup grated Emmental or Gruyere
1/2 cup butter (2oz) butter
1 1/2 lbs potatoes, peeled and grated
1 cup cream
pepper if liked
(see measure conversions for more information)


- Stir the cheese into the cream.
- Melt the butter in a large frying pan.
- Put the potato into the frying pan.
- Fry for about 20 minutes (add the cheese and cream after 10 minutes).
- Turn the potatoes over a few times.
- Serve with a green salad and crusty bread.
