How to make rosemary wine:
This recipe is something like cherry brandy or sloe gin in as much as a ready prepared alcoholic beverage is infused with further flavor, in this case from a herb that is readily available. Rosemary is highly aromatic and imparts a spicy and unusual flavor to an ordinary bottle of white wine. You may like to try this technique with a sparkling white wine.
Ingredients
1 bottle white wine1 cup Rosemary sprigs washed and chopped
(see measure conversions for more information)
Method
- Put the wine and rosemary into a screw top container for 3 days.- Strain and rebottle.
- Serve very cold.
