How to make redcurrant sauce:
A classic sauce for for rich meat and poultry.


2 tablespoons redcurrant jam/jelly
6 cloves
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
a little red wine
grated rind of 1 orange
juice of 1 orange
a little brown sugar
(see measure conversions for more information)


- Melt the jelly in a pan.
- Add the cloves and cinnamon, the rind or the orange, a little sugar and the red wine.
- Add the strained orange juice.
- Remove from heat and strain.
- Serve immediately.
