How to make quick muffins:
A very quick and easy recipe which could be made at any time by hand or even more quickly in a food processor.


1 1/2 cups flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
a pinch of salt
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup water

- Sift the flour, baking powder and salt together.
- Rub in the butter.
- Add the milk and water.
- Drop spoonfuls into hot buttered gem pans.
- Bake at 200 degrees Centigrade (see temperature conversions) for 12-15 minutes.
