3 tablespoons (3oz) raisins
2 tablespoons (2oz) dried figs
2 tablespoons (2oz) dried prunes
grated rind of 1 orange
2 tablespoons (2oz) nuts
1 tablespoons (1oz) desiccated coconut
a little orange juice
2 tablespoons (2oz) desiccated coconut (for the coating)
(see measure conversions for more information)
- Add the orange rind, chopped nuts and coconut.
- Press together well, then add just enough orange juice to bind (do not make too wet).
- Form into balls and roll in coconut.
- Makes about 40 tiny truffles or 10-12 larger ones; can be put into confectionery cases.

How to make mixed fruit truffles:
A delicious sweet that requires no cooking. Mixed Fruit Truffles rely on the sweetness of the fruit and have no added sugar.
Ingredients
