How to make mint sauce:
Mint sauce is the traditional accompaniment to lamb and mutton.


1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh mint
1 tablespoon caster sugar
1/4 pint wine vinegar or distilled vinegar
(see measure conversions for more information)


- Mix all the ingredients together.
- Allow to stand for at least 2 hours.
- Serve with lamb or mutton.
