How to make mid-week casserole:
This can be cooking when you're busy about the house, or out shopping.


2 cups sausage meat
2 cooking apples
1 large onion, thinly sliced
4 large tomatoes
(see measure conversions for more information)


- Peel and core the apples, cut into thin slices.
- Divide the sausage meat in half and press a layer into a greased casserole, add half the apples, onions and tomatoes in layers.
- Repeat with the remaining ingredients, season and cover with a lid.
- Cook at approx 200 degrees centigrade (see temperature conversions) for 1 hour.
