Melissa Cocktail Recipe
This is a cocktail made from white wine with the addition of vermouth and lemon balm. Melissa is the Latin name for lemon balm and adds a spicy lemon flavour to the drink.
- 1 cup lemon balm leaves, washed and bruised
- 1 bottle white wine
- measure of vermouth
- Put the lemon balm and wine into a jug and leave in the fridge for 4 hours.
- Put 1 measure of vermouth into a glass and top up with the wine.
- Add ice and lemon.
