1/4 pint milk
2 eggs
1 medium onion skinned and finely diced
4 slices of white bread made into breadcrumbs
salt and pepper
mixed chopped herbs if liked (e.g. a little thyme, parsley and summer savory)
(see measure conversions for more information)
- Grease a suitable loaf tin and put the mixture into it.
- Smooth the top over with a spoon and bake at 180 degrees Centigrade (see temperature conversions) for 1 1/2 hours.
- Serve hot with brown gravy and vegetables.

Ingredients

- Smooth the top over with a spoon and bake at 180 degrees Centigrade (see temperature conversions) for 1 1/2 hours.
- Serve hot with brown gravy and vegetables.
