How to make Harvard beetroot:
An interesting way to serve beetroot.





Ingredients

3 cooked beetroot peeled and sliced
1/2 cup sugar
1 heaped tablespoon cornstarch
1 glass wine vinegar
4 level tablespoons butter
(see measure conversions for more information)



Method

- Put the sugar, cornstarch and vinegar into a double saucepan.
- Stir until smooth.
- Put the beetroot into the sauce.
- Remove from heat and leave for 30 minutes.
- Add the butter and serve hot.
