How to make Haddock and Pasta Bake:
This is a quick and easy supper dish. It doesn't take much preparation and should serve two people comfortably. Use any pasta shapes you wish – macaroni would be particularly good for this recipe. Try and use good quality haddock and if you decide to use smoked haddock omit adding any more salt – smoked haddock is generally salty.

2oz uncooked pasta, cooked and drained
1 haddock fillet, cooked, boned and flaked
1 tablespoon grated cheddar cheese
1/2 oz flour
1/2 oz butter
1/2 pint milk
1/2 teaspoon English mustard
salt and pepper
(see measure conversions for more information)

- Add salt and pepper to the flaked fish to suit your taste.
- Layer the seasoned fish and uncooked pasta in an oven-proof dish.
- Put the flour and butter into a saucepan over a low heat stirring well.
- Add the milk gradually.
- Continue stirring and bring to the boil to make a white sauce.
