How to make French salad:
This recipe is loosely based on salad Nicoise. It is an easy summertime dish that can be made as expansive as required using combinations of ingredients that you like. The ratios of the following ingredients can also be changed depending on your tastes.


French Salad
10 new potatoes, scrubbed, boiled and cubed
3 eggs, hard boiled, cooled, shelled and cut into quarters
8 cherry tomatoes cut into wedges
1lb tinned tuna, drained and flaked
6oz cooked French beans cut into bite sized pieces
small tin anchovies, drained and cut into thin strips
stoned black olives
crisp lettuce, washed and torn into shreds
French dressing or dressing of choice

- Put the lettuce into a large bowl.
- Arrange the other ingredients on the lettuce.
- Top with the anchovies.
- Serve with the dressing.
