How to make economy soup:
A cheap and simple soup dish to make.



Ingredients

2 pints stock
1 cabbage
2 medium carrots
2 medium sized onions
2 leeks
seasoning
olive oil
(see measure conversions for more information)

Method

- Prepare the vegetables and chop them finely.
- Put them in a saucepan with some seasoning to taste and the oil.
- Fry until nicely browned.
- Add the stock and simmer very slowly for 1 hour.
- Serve hot with bread and butter.
