1 cup breadcrumbs
2 heaped tablespoons flour
3 tablespoons shredded suet
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 egg
3/4 pint milk
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
(see measure conversions for more information)
- Beat the eggs with the milk and add to the dry ingredients.
- Put the mixture into a greased pudding basin and steam for two hours.

A traditional English pudding. Dates are very rarely used in cooking nowadays but this really does merit having a go.Ingredients
