1/2 cup butter
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of dried fruit
1 heaped cup of flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
(see measure conversions for more information)
- Add the fruit and then stir in the beaten egg.
- Roll into little balls and drop onto a well greased hot baking tray.
- Leave plenty of space between each ball.
- Cook in a moderate oven until the biscuits have flattened and have become crisp.
