Starter - Crunchy Camembert
Main Course - Spiced Beef
Dessert - Strawberry Meringue Flan
flour
salt and freshly ground pepper
beaten egg
white breadcrumbs
oil for deep frying.
(see measure conversions for more information)
- Put the flour in a large polythene bag and season it with salt and pepper.
- Put the breadcrumbs onto a plate.
- Put the cheese into the flour and shake until well coated.
- Dip into the egg and then into the breadcrumbs.
- Dip again in the egg and breadcrumbs until evenly coated.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Deep fry until golden brown.
- Serve immediately with a fresh, crisp salad.

How to make crunchy camembert:
A really tasty and simple cheese starter.
Ingredients
one or two portions of camembert for each personflour
salt and freshly ground pepper
beaten egg
white breadcrumbs
oil for deep frying.

Method
- Chill the cheese portions in the freezer for 30 minutes.- Put the flour in a large polythene bag and season it with salt and pepper.
- Put the breadcrumbs onto a plate.
- Put the cheese into the flour and shake until well coated.
- Dip into the egg and then into the breadcrumbs.
- Dip again in the egg and breadcrumbs until evenly coated.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Deep fry until golden brown.
- Serve immediately with a fresh, crisp salad.
