2 eggs
3 tablespoons superfine sugar
1/4 pint double cream
(see measure conversions for more information)
- Beat eggs and add the milk.
- Strain into a greased dish and stir in one ounce of the sugar.
- Bake at 120 degrees centigrade (see temperature conversions) for about 45 minutes or until the custard is set.
- Leave to cool and then sprinkle the rest of the sugar on top.
- Put under a very hot grill so that the sugar caramelizes.
- Whip the cream and use to decorate the Crème Brulée when cooled.
