How to make cranberry muffins:
These savory muffins are great eaten warm and buttered alongside turkey soup made from Thanksgiving or Christmas leftovers.


2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 superfine sugar
4 tablespoons melted butter
2 eggs beaten
just under 1/2 pint milk
3/4 cup cranberries
(see measure conversions for more information)


- Sift the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar into a bowl.
- Add the melted butter.
- Add the milk and mix well.
- Fold in the cranberries.
- Put spoonfuls into greased muffin tins.
- Bake at 440 degrees Fahrenheit (see temperature conversions) for 30 minutes.
- Serve warm.
