3 tablespoons soft light brown sugar
2 tablespoons golden syrup
2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1 tablespoon roasted hazelnuts, roughly chopped
butter for greasing
(see measure conversions for more information)
- Melt the butter in a saucepan.
- Add sugar and syrup to the warm, melted butter.
- Remove the pan from heat.
- Stir in the oats, cranberries and hazelnuts.
- Stir well.
- Spread the mixture into the prepared tin and even out.
- Bake in oven at 190 degrees centigrade (see temperature conversions) until golden brown.
(about 30 minutes).
- Remove from the oven and mark into bars.
- Leave to cool for about 5 minutes.
