1 cup ground up nuts
3 tablespoons good chocolate powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
white of 1 egg
2 tablespoons icing/confectioner's sugar
1 tablespoon water
(see measure conversions for more information)
- Add the sugar then the water and then the maple syrup.
- Mix well.
- Gradually work in the chocolate powder.
- Knead until a soft dough is formed.
- Add more chocolate powder and/or confectioner's sugar if the dough is too tacky.
- Roll into small balls, dusting hands with confectioner's sugar.
- roll each ball in confectioner's sugar and then in the nuts.
- Press firmly so that the nuts stick in well.
- Leave for 1 hour.

How to make chocolate truffles:

- Mix well.

- Add more chocolate powder and/or confectioner's sugar if the dough is too tacky.
- Roll into small balls, dusting hands with confectioner's sugar.
- roll each ball in confectioner's sugar and then in the nuts.
