How to make chocolate pineapple:
Pineapple remains firm and juicy even after being dipped in hot chocolate. This recipe could also be tried with other firm fruits. White chocolate would also be worth trying as an alternative coating.


1 cup plain chocolate, grated
canned pineapple chunks, drained
crystallised violets to garnish
(see measure conversions for more information)


- Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of hot water.
- Holding the pineapple chunks with two forks, dip them into the chocolate and coat evenly.
- Leave to dry on greaseproof paper and decorate with crystallised violets.
