How to make chocolate coconut truffles:
A truffle is a classic confection which is usually coated in chocolate, chocolate powder or cocoa. The centers have many different flavorings, sometimes fruits, coffee, chocolate or alcohol.


4 tablespoons caster/superfine sugar
1 tablespoon cocoa or drinking chocolate
2 tablespoons milk
5 tablespoons coconut
4 tablespoons butter
vanilla extract or coffee

- Put the sugar, milk and butter in a pan and dissolve over a gentle heat.
- Remove from heat and add cocoa, flavoring and coconut.
- Mix well.
- Form into balls and roll in dry coconut.
- Leave to harden.
