How to make celery cheese savory:
A novel and tasty dish which makes an unusual supper snack.





Ingredients

1 head of celery
milk
1/4 cup grated cheese
1 egg beaten
breadcrumbs
salt and pepper

Method

- Wash and grate the celery.
- Put the celery into a saucepan with some milk.
- Simmer until the celery is almost cooked.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool.
- Stir in the cheese, beaten egg, salt and pepper.
- Pour into a well greased ovenproof dish.
- Cover with breadcrumbs.
- Bake in a moderate oven until nicely browned on top.
