4oz glace cherries, chopped
2oz crystallised peel, chopped
4oz mixed nuts, chopped
8oz digestive biscuits crushed
6oz unsalted butter
6tbsp golden syrup
double cream

- Add the digestive biscuits.
- Mix well.
- Warm the butter and syrup in a saucepan until the butter has melted.
- Bring to the boil and boil for 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool.
- Pour into the fruit, nut and biscuit mixture.
- Spoon the mixture into an 8 inch loose-bottomed baking tin.
- Leave in the fridge overnight.

How to make caramel glory cake:

Method
