How to make camembert & cranberry filo pastry savories:
A really different and tasty main meal. You can try different cheeses such as brie or a harder cheese like cheddar. If you or your guests are vegetarian you can simply use a vegetarian cheese. You can even try low-fat cheeses!


4 sheets of filo pastry
8 tablespoons melted butter
packet Camembert cheese cut into four equal pieces
4 tablespoons cranberry jelly
sesame seeds
(see measure conversions for more information)


- Brush four sheets of filo pastry with melted butter.
- Fold each piece of pastry in half and brush again with butter.
- Place a piece of cheese in the centre of each piece of pastry.
- Top each piece of cheese with 1 tablespoon of cranberry jelly.
- Wrap pastry over the cheese and seal well.
- Brush parcels with the remaining melted butter.
- Put onto a greased baking tray and bake for 10 to 15 minutes at 200 degrees Centigrade (see temperature conversions).
- Serve with creamed potatoes and baby carrots.
