How to make buttered rum:
A hot and spicy alcoholic beverage that is really soothing at the end of a cold and tiring winter's day.


2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 pint rum
1 pint boiling water
1 lemon
1 nutmeg
powdered cinnamon
(see measure conversions for more information)


- Put butter, sugar and cinnamon into a bowl and pour the boiling water onto them.
- Add the rum.
- Float slices of lemon on top and grate the nutmeg over it.
- Serve hot.
