1 cup (8oz) sugar
3 1/2 cups (14oz) self-raising flour (or equivalent)
3 eggs, well beaten
1/4 pint milk
1 1/2 cups (3/4lb) blueberries
(see measure conversions for more information)
- Gradually add the eggs with a little flour.
- Fold in the remaining flour and the milk alternately until both are used up.
- Stir in the berries.
- Pour the mixture into a well greased pudding basin and cover with greaseproof paper and steam fot 3 hours.

How to make blueberry pudding:
This is an excellent steamed sponge recipe that uses the great flavour of blueberries.
Ingredients
1/2 cup (4oz) butter1 cup (8oz) sugar
3 1/2 cups (14oz) self-raising flour (or equivalent)
3 eggs, well beaten
