3/4 cup (6oz) sugar
4 cups (2lbs) blueberries
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon butter
pinch salt
enough shortcrust pastry to line and cover chosen pie dish
(see measure conversions for more information)
- Mix and allow to stand for 30 minutes.
- Prepare and roll out pastry.
- Line the pie dish with the pastry.
- Pour the berry mixture into the pastry-lined pie dish.
- Dot with butter.
- Cut the remaining pastry into eight 3-inch petal shapes.
- Arrange the petal shapes on top of the pie filling.
- Bake at 425 degrees F for about 5 minutes.
- Serve hot or cold.

How to make blueberry pie:
A classic American recipe. This recipe is based on a genuine 1950s recipe.
Ingredients
3 tablespoons quick cook tapioca3/4 cup (6oz) sugar
4 cups (2lbs) blueberries

- Cut the remaining pastry into eight 3-inch petal shapes.
