Who doesn't like a milkshake? A deliciously creamy and cooling beverage, it is a real favourite the world over and a great summertime drink. This is a recipe for banana milkshake but you can of course replace the banana with your own favourite fruit.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chilled milk
  • 1 medium banana, pureed
  • third cup orange juice
  • 1 large scoop of ice cream
  • pinch of salt
(see measure conversions for more information on quantites)

Method

  1. Put all the ingredients into a blender.
  2. Blend well.
  3. Serve immediately.

Prep Time: 3 minutes

Cook Time: NA

Yield: 1 milkshake

It's only a small amount of salt and it's added to enhance the flavour of the milkshake. Of course, if you don't want to add it, don't add it. Problem solved.
