2 tablespoons butter
breadcrumbs
peel of half a lemon
seasoning
1/2 cup sausage meat
parsley to garnish
(see measure conversions for more information)
- Stuff it with the sausage meat.
- Sprinkle with the seasoning and put into a greased baking tin.
- Put the butter in small pieces over the top.
- Cover with greased paper.
- Bake in a moderate oven (approx. 170 degrees centigrade) (see temperature conversions) for about 3/4 to an hour.
- Sprinkle with breadcrumbs 10 minutes before it has finished cooking.
- Remember to baste well as pike is a dry fish.

How to make baked pike:

- Scale, skin and clean the pike.- Stuff it with the sausage meat.
- Sprinkle with the seasoning and put into a greased baking tin.
