pepper and salt
1 pint of milk
4 slices of bacon
4 tablespoons butter
4 heaped tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
(see measure conversions for more information)
- Cook for 2 hours until tender and then drain.
- Make a white sauce from the milk, butter and flour and add the parsley.
- Fry the bacon.
- Serve the beans covered with the parsley sauce and garnished with bacon.
