How to make asparagus with lemon:
Asparagus has a lovely flavour and the lemon adds a contrast to the taste. It is in season in June and is regarded by many as a delicacy.
Ingredients
as many Asparagus spears as are requiredtwo parts olive oil to one part lemon juice
flavour with finely chopped parsley and season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Method
- Cook the asparagus in salted boiling water in bundles for 12 - 20 minutes depending on the freshness of the asparagus.- Drain when cooked.
- Beat the oil, lemon juice, parsley, and seasoning thoroughly.
- The mixture should thicken a little.
- Arrange the asparagus on a serving plate or individual plates, and spoon the sauce over to taste.
