Dessert - Apple and Honey Ice Cream with Blackberry Sauce
8oz Bramley cooking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1 1/2 tablespoons runny honey (or to taste)
275ml whipping cream, whipped to a soft peak
sugar to taste
(see measure conversions for more information)
- Cool the mixture a little and then puree in a food processor.
- Allow to cool.
- Fold in the whipped cream.
- Put into a suitable container like an old plastic ice cream container.
- Freeze until firm; beat once or twice during freezing to prevent formation of ice crystals.
- To make the sauce put the blackberries and sugar into a saucepan.
- Cook until pulpy.
- Allow to cool.
- Puree in the food processor.
- Press through a sieve, discarding pips.
- Chill and serve with the ice cream.

How to make apple and honey ice cream with blackcurrant sauce:
An ice cream that uses harvest fruits to full advantage. Don't worry if you don't have an ice cream maker as it is very easy to make by hand.
Ingredients

1 1/2 tablespoons runny honey (or to taste)
275ml whipping cream, whipped to a soft peak

8oz blackberriessugar to taste

Method
- Put the honey and apples into a saucepan and cook until pulpy.- Cool the mixture a little and then puree in a food processor.
- Allow to cool.
- Fold in the whipped cream.
