Shropshire Blue Cheese Flan

Three great summer recipes to try in this month's recipes menu. They can all can be prepared in advance and served cold when needed. Dolmades, a classic Greek dish of mince delicately flavoured with mint and wrapped in vine leaves, opens the menu. A Shropshire Blue Cheese Flan follows and the menu is finished with a Raspberry and Chocolate Dessert Cake.

Northamptonshire Cheese Cake
This type of cheesecake or "curd tart" is traditionally found in many areas of the British Isles, particularly in rural areas. Cheese cakes such as these were know by many different names and were differently flavoured according to region.
