How to make a rosewater & glycerine moisturiser:

PLEASE NOTE:

Although all the ingredients in these beauty recipes are natural, remember that it is still possible to be allergic to anything applied to the skin. DO NOT USE ANYTHING NUT BASED ON YOUR SKIN IF YOU HAVE A NUT ALLERGY. To test other ingredients make up a very small amount of the recipe you intend to use. Wash and gently dry a small patch of skin inside your elbow. Apply a little of the mix to the skin and leave for 48 hours. If you experience any redness or swelling DO NOT USE THE BEAUTY RECIPE AT ALL.

Ingredients

3 tablespoons glycerine
3 tablespoons rosewater

Method

- Pour both ingredients into a clean bottle.
- Replace cap.
- Shake ingredients.
- The bottle will need to be shaken each time before using.

I got talking to a very nice lady in nottingham town centre today, as we were chatting she mentioned her age I could not believe it I honestly thought she was in her late 60s. Well she was 79 and her skin looked amazing, then she told me that she has always used Rosewater & Glycerine. So I went and brought some, So THANKS looks like I met her just in time.

In this particular recipe the quantities are equal probably because it is a moisturising recipe so there is quite a lot of glycerine. However the ratio can be altered as you wish.Lemon juice tends to dry and tighten the skin and is not suitable if your skin is dry or sensitive.

Pls tell me if the quantity of rose water & glycerin is same?? Because i have heard that the quantity of rose water is double than of glycerin. Pls confirm.

Also, if i can add some lemon juice in this mixture??? What will be the benefits???

if you live in the US you could try www.mountainroseherbs.com. if you are in the uk most chemists sell glycerine and Boots usually sells rosewater.

Where can we purchase rosewater and glycerin so that I can make my own lotion. I can't find a retailer anywhere that carries this product already mixed.
